My 2019 Reading Wrap-Up and 2020 Reading Plan

Ohai, ebribadeeee~! Happy New Year!!! I know I'm late but hueh, "better late than never" amiright?

Last year, since I wanted to get back into my old reading pace, I challenged myself to read at least 24 books for the whole year. And *jaaaan~* I'm proud to say, I achieved it and even read two more!! That is to say, twenty-six (26) books in total! YAAAAAAY *insert confetti here* WAHOH!! What I am ashamed to admit though is: Although I achieved that within 6 months (which is an amazing development since my reading slump), I never finished any more beyond that point. *oops* What did I do with all the time I was supposed to dedicate to reading you ask? GAMING. And also studying of course! Hueh~ *sweats* I also slept a lot, had a roller coaster with my mental health and participated in Inktober 2019 for a while (exams cut off the fun--bummer).

Anyway~! The 26 books, yes. I will list all the books I read for 2019 and link the corresponding reviewif I made anybelow (hover the book title to check and click to get redirected via another tab). I will slowly work on updating this list within the month. If by the end of the month though the titles remain without a link, I am afraid that means I didn't make any review for that particular book or it was too short to even have a separate entry. If the latter is the case, I will just include the short thoughts in here. I apologize in advance for my shortcomings and thank you as always for your patience.

I know what you're thinking: Thasaaalooot of Leigh Bardugo, ain't it? HAHA! Blame Cindy. She influenced me to read Six of Crows and being the sucker for details that I am, I had to read the Grishaverse too! lmao I'm kidding, don't blame the lady. She is really nice and I love watching her videos. She is also responsible for A Thousand Beginnings and Endings and The Boat as I've read them for the previous Asian Readathon she hosted. You also might've noticed the abundance of series. Almost half! I think I told myself to read and try to finish series last year. Who knows, I might follow up on some of them this year too~ Looking at my list, I am glad I branched out from the genre I usually pick up which is Horror/Thriller

And so, determined to get closer to my ideal reading pace, I am hence increasing the number of books to forty-eight (48) as my 2020 Reading Goal! *clapsI wish I could read Classics this time around because I failed to do that the previous year. ( ˃ᆺ˂)୨*MAXIMUM DETERMINATION!!!* Graaaaahhhh~!
